Come celebrate African-Canadian and African-American authors and illustrators with special guest Shauntay Grant.

This program is aimed at preschoolers and their caregivers, but everyone is welcome.


Ages 3-7


The African-American Read In is a worldwide event established in 1990 as part of African Heritage Month to promote diversity in children's literature, encourage young people to read, and shine a spotlight on African American authors.
