TD presents African Heritage Month

Vincentian-Canadian author Moashella Shortte and her daughter Siena will join us to read from her children's book Mirror and to share insights into developing a positive self-image in yourself and your child.

Moashella was motivated to write Mirror by the desire to teach genuine self-love and self-acceptance to Siena, and to encourage and promote the same for others. 

The title Mirror because: “Loving our children comes naturally and easily; teaching them to love themselves is another story.”
