Sound & Spirit with Inter-Faith Harmony Halifax

2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Captain William Spry Public Library

Description

How do our spiritual traditions express silence and sound? What meanings do songs, prayers, dances, music, rhythms and melodies convey? When do we take time for silence, and why?

If you come from a religious or spiritual background, Inter-Faith Harmony Halifax is looking for you to answer these questions as part of their celebration week. They will make space for you to share and take pride in your cultural and religious practices while learning directly from your peers from other backgrounds.
