In the self-aware comedy Barbie, Stereotypical Barbie (Margot Robbie) leads a dream life until one day, she suddenly starts having dark thoughts and visits Weird Barbie (Kate MacKinnon) to get advice.
Weird Barbie explains that a breach has been created between the real world and their universe, and that she must go to Los Angeles to find the person responsible for her troubles.
Accompanied by Ken (Ryan Gosling), Barbie visits LA and begins to question her world and existence, while Ken discovers the patriarchy, which doesn't bode well.
