It's Canadian Children's Book Week!

Join Nova Scotian author Lindsay Ruck as she celebrates the beauty in every colour through her children’s rhyming picture book, My Favourite Colour. Kids will enjoy a participatory read-along of the book, which features a little girl who just can’t decide what her favourite colour is.

Following the reading, the kids will be invited to make their own rainbow books, picking their favourite colours and expressing themselves through art, text, or both! Kids will come away with their own book that they’ve proudly created to celebrate every colour under the sun.

For Children in Kindergarten through Grade 2.
