Events › Halifax Jazz Festival Creative Music Series: The Branches Become the Root

The Creative Music Series is performed by faculty of the Creative Music Workshop (CMW), a central component of the TD Halifax Jazz Festival. 

Originating in 1996, under the direction of world-renowned drummer Jerry Granelli and now under the direction of his son J. Anthony Granelli, the CMW has become an instrumental educational force with alumni having gone on to become professional artists, educators, and creative individuals worldwide.
