TD presents Celebrating African Heritage

Would you like to become a Black Beauty Culture Hair Innovator? This is what an innovator does:

  • Analyzes a client’s hair and scalp.
  • Adds styles such as braids, locks, and twists.
  • Incorporates extensions, weaves, hairpieces, and wigs.
  • May provide services including incidental cutting, straightening, curling, and hair drying.
  • Follows natural hair care, which means no use of chemicals.

This complimentary 90-hour series is designed to prepare eligible candidates to write the certification exam for the Black Beauty Culture Hair Innovator (BBCHI) trade.

Individuals who have significant experience in the trade (trade qualifiers) will review the content of the Occupational Standard in preparation to write the certification exam.

The course runs every Saturday and Sunday from October 18, 2025 - March 8, 2026. No sessions December 27 and 28, January 3 and 4.

Registration closes on Friday, October 3 at 4:30 PM.
