Events › Dartmouth Mushroom Walk

We're going on a mushroom hunt! Join the Library and fungi-expert extraordinaire, Catherine Euale, to learn about these hidden organisms all around us. We'll get hands-on to learn about fungi's role in nature, and get a crash course in identifying the mushrooms growing in our own neighbourhood. This family-friendly event blends education with outdoor fun for curious minds of all ages.

This event will take place in the Dartmouth Commons park. We'll meet at the entrance at the corner of Wyse Road and Thistle Street near the parking lot.

Mushrooms love rain so we do too! Please dress for the weather. This program will only be cancelled in the case of severe weather.
