Intimate partner and domestic violence can happen to anyone. This free community session will help you learn how to recognize the signs of abuse, support someone who may be experiencing it, and connect them to help in a safe and respectful way.
Whether it’s a friend, family member, coworker, or neighbour, we all have a role to play in preventing violence and showing support. This session will offer practical tools, real-world examples, and local resources that can make a difference.
Neighbours, Friends, and Families (NFF) is a community-focused program co-facilitated with local organizations to increase awareness of intimate partner and domestic violence. Participants will learn how to recognize warning signs, provide support, and connect individuals to local resources.
Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate from Western University.
In partnership with Transition House Association of Nova Scotia and Neighbours, Friends & Families, and Lea Place
