Write Good Fortune in Chinese Calligraphy

3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Captain William Spry Public Library

Description

Come and join us to write the Chinese character “福” (Good Fortune), pronounced as "Fu" in calligraphy to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

You will have a chance to practice traditional calligraphy with the writing brush, liquid ink, and special Xuan paper. You can also choose to write your beautiful work on a piece of red Xuan paper as a décor to bring home and light up the festival spirits. Putting up “福” writing around the house means to welcome happiness and bring in good fortune.
