Events › Brass Musical Performance with Scotia Brass

Join Scotia Brass, a 15-member brass group specializing in classical and semi-classical music that has performed in the Halifax region for many years. Scotia Brass is conducted by Mr. Rod MacGillvray, a talented brass performer and teacher at the Maritime Conservatory of the Performing Arts.

This group includes professional and amateur musicians who have played with Symphony Nova Scotia, Nova Symphonia and other top groups. The members of this ensemble are proud to have served as a musical catalyst and springboard for a number of young Nova Scotian musicians to become professional players and music educators.
