Description

Non-Branch Location: The Clark Kent Trail

Experience the joy of birdwatching on the Clark Kent Trail. Expect an easy walk with a boardwalk and no big hills, a great experience, especially for new trail users. The trail runs along Governors Brook and is home to beautiful lichen and mixed forest. Enjoy the opportunity to hear wood frogs, and many birds, including the Hairy Woodpecker, Hermit Thrush, Eastern Wood-pewee, Dark-eyed Junco, Black-capped Chickadee, American Redstart and Northern Cardinal.

Well-known bird identification expert, Fulton Lavender, will share his knowledge of bird habitats and habits while teaching you effective bird-watching and listening skills.
