Based in Halifax, Barbara has worked in politics, media, and as a university writing instructor. She published her first book after retirement and has since built a successful career writing both fiction and non-fiction, through traditional and independent publishing. Barbara believes there is nothing ordinary about ordinary people—and those are the stories she loves to tell.
