Tony Hillerman writes with style,
demonstrating deep cultural sensitivity
and creating well-developed characters.
His audiobooks are usually narrated by George Guidall,
who is a most excellent reader.
Sacred Clowns, alas, is read by Christian Baskous,
who seems to have no connection to the writing at all.
Horrible, horrible narration.
I’ll be avoiding anything narrated by Baskous in future.
