6th book in the series, mystery, sleuth Judge Deborah Knott, by Margaret Maron
set in rural Alabama, contemporary times.
Some books teach us to better understand particular eras in American regional history.
This novel teaches valuable social history information, woven into the plot.
Fires set alight by arsonists, to burn buildings of purpose. Fires to churches.
Churches were protected by a law....etc.
And those fires really did happen around the country. When?
