This beautiful, refined collection of short stories is an absolute treasure! I plan to re-read it each solstice and incorporate some of the celebrations suggested in the back. There are so many good stories, but the one that stood out for me was The Pull Together Morning. We all need Umujo, Harambee, and Imani (Unity, Pull-together, and Faith) to overcome problems that face us all. This book is suitable for most reading levels, and lends well to reading out loud for younger audiences. The Return of the Light is a true delight!
