Excellent book. Author skillfully weaves background and eyewitness accounts in each chapter. At first resistance grew slowly but by 1943 when deportations were announced the Danes said no way! Basically, the ENTIRE country mobilized to save the Jewish Danes -- awesome!! At the same time they were relentless in their sabotage; you can't help but cheer or at least grin triumphantly.
