Almost identical in content to another library holding, "Roofing: Step By Step". Both are at most a general overview, better suited for the homeowner who wants to contract out needed roof repair and replacement and needs some guidance as to what to ask the contractor. For this task, there is merit to reading this book. However, for those wanting to do the work themselves, the "step by step" instructions presented are sketchy at best, and often ambiguous. And this book does not cover situations that the person doing a roofing job will almost certainly encounter. There is simply not enough information provided here for someone to do roof replacement and repair themselves.
