Billy Graham reveals what it means to be a Christian in a confused and confusing American nation that is quickly leaving behind its once-Christian ethical system. How do we live out our faith daily in a way that expresses the love and grace, healing and purpose of Jesus Christ? How do we succeed in knowing and fulfilling the will of God for ourselves personally and for a lost and confused world? Graham answers these questions and more, and clearly reveals how the values and behaviors of the world differ from those God desires of a Christian who truly is dedicated to following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. Graham reinforces the teaching of Jesus that a tree is indeed known by its fruit.

This is Billy Graham's seminal work from a prolific catalog of titles. Reverend Graham sums up the Christian walk from beginning to end in his usual relaxed narrative and does it in one volume. A must read for anyone and everyone.

Billy Graham writes in this book, "Christ demanded a decision, a plunge, a choice!" Graham also quotes Erich Fromm: "While people believe in God, they are not concerned with God. That is, they do not worry or lose sleep over religious or spiritual problems. Most people of the West say they believe in God, hence in God's principles of love, justice, truth, and humility. Yet these ideas have little influence on our behavior. Most of us are motivated by the wish for greater material comfort, security, and prestige."
