Savvy. A special something that you can do better than everyone else. Mib's 13th birthday will not be like any other birthday. Her 13th will be when a Beaumont savvy strikes! With one brother who causes it to rain and another brother that causes electricity Mib dreams her savvy will be x-ray vision or invisible wings! But when her beloved Papa is in a terrible accident, all her dreams about a perfect savvy disappears. All she wants is a savvy that will save Papa. And so begins a wild journey with her siblings and the preacher's kids. And as their amazing adventure continues, only one thing is clear. Not a soul on that bus will ever be the same.
Mib is about to turn 13 when she hears about her dads accident. Her brother and mother go to Salina Hope Hospital while Mib is worried about her savvy and her dad. Savvies run through the family and now it was her turn. On her birthday she notices that everything is waking up. She thinks that her savvy is waking things up. During her birthday party she figures she has to be the one to wake her dad up she finds herself in a bible bus that was headed to salina. on her way fish,her other brother, and the priests son and daughter will and bobby tag along. On her way she stops at a restaurant and sees a man on the ground but she couldn't wake him up. She realized that her savvy wasn't waking things up but it was making ink come to life. She has been hearing voices at the back of her head like bobby little angel and lester's girlfriend and mom. When she gets to salina she draws something on her dads hand and knows what hes thinking and he wakes up.
