This is not a bad book it helps break down concrete projects so they are less intimidating. I would however would've like to see a little more on the DVD especially with the brick laying, and maybe more detail on the wall foundations, but I also understand local areas have different building codes too. As for the rest it felt like you are doing more landscaping than brick laying but I have heard of contractors doing both. It does give a helping hand to those want to be a DIY or those that want to learn more about this trade but it won't make you an expert.
