Title's so apt, honestly felt like it'd never end it dragged on so much. It's really a shame, there were some elements in the film that would have been interesting if the script were better constructed. Doesn't live up to the Lovecraftianess it promises, nor to the parts it tries to develop. I've heard of slow burns but this was ridiculous. Some reviews around say the film picks up in the last 20 minutes and then it's worth the wait but honestly? What's the point in slogging through something to meet the end that people probably only think is good because something is actually happening compared to the rest of the film, when you could instead be watching something that's actually enjoyable for its whole runtime? Hard miss.

It was a slow cook but once it got to going it was worth the ride! I enjoyed the overall story complete with plot twists in this Sci-Fi Thriller. If you are looking for big name actors you will not find them in this film. The acting was not always the best. However, I am still looking forward to catching Spring (2014) by talented directors Moorhead and Benson.

P.S. Love the cover art.

I liked this movie, and may see it again to absorb all the time loops, which I didn't completely catch the first time. It reminded me a bit of Bradbury's novel (and the film based on it) Something Wicked This Way Comes. The relationship between the two brothers, Aaron and Justin, reminded me of the relationship between the boyhood friends Will and Jim in Bradbury's story, including the way in which one of the pair in each story was attracted to the sinister community, not realizing the evil forces behind it.

The Endless is a mess. It's the culmination of really interesting ideas that didn't decide to look beneath the surface of it's premises. I think the cinematography is good, the CGI is good (for an Indie movie). I really like indie movies that try to explore concepts that are not found in mainstream media. The acting is fine in spite of the dialogue. The dialogue is clunky, the objective is unclear and the stakes are so horribly low that it would have been better for our protagonists and all side characters (Some of which were quite funny) respective objective's to have failed just to usher the credits faster.

I think the movies is woefully categorized as a horror when instead it is a drama as there is simply nothing scary or upsetting about the film that you couldn't find in most dramas.

This movie was really close to being something original and unique, I hope to see more from the directors as they refine their craft.

When I read the footnote of the movie summary, I thought it was a typical UFO movie. With flying saucers and aliens. Because I am a big fanatic of those things. Right off I could tell it was a "B" movie, but that did not detract my interest. The plot was slow at first and then became rather interesting about the death loops. I often thought hell would be something like that. I liked the story line and the ending. But I was disappointed at not seeing "a real live alien." The movie was a little Avant Garde and a little off the beaten path of most sci-fi movies. But I really enjoyed the diversion.

Kind of low budget but I liked the premise and the execution. Pretty original, in my opinion.

Snazzy title, cover art and description. And an intriguing story.
But the film rendition is as tasty as a paper pie with bland dialogue to match.
A snorefest, even when "something" finally happens near the very end.

What an interesting sci-fi/horror movie! You can tell it's low budget, but these inventive filmmakers use this to their advantage. They create a thoughtful, sometimes confusing, but always interesting exploration of time, family, cults, and the unknown monster out there.

Have not seen such a unique and imaginative thriller since Donnie Darko. Those who decry low budget simply must have their art spoon fed to them like stupid little philistine babies.

Excellent!

I was extremely impressed with this film, one that began with a rather disarming simplicity & ended in fireworks. The trick or secret at the heart of the film is unfolded in a very clever way, as a powerful meditation on the conflict between escapism & acceptance, & when you learn that the one lead actor & director was making this movie in the shadow of his mother's recent suicide, you understand how much courage & insight went into his performance. Definitely not a horror or sci-fi story for those who need a lot of jump scares or gore or wild effects, but one that will haunt & thrill a thoughtful mind. Five stars playing tug-of-war with the sky! CR
