I actually really enjoyed this book in the series. It felt more balanced, even ~ with much less time spent on descriptive passages or what feels like (more often than not) forced clever/witty remarks from Elvis Cole. The story line, while certainly not a likely scenario, was simple/clear enough for me to be able to suspend disbelief and just jump on board! Plus I liked that there was more interaction with other characters and less internal dialogue or these long, drawn out chapters about his relationship with Lucy. We'll see how the next book shakes out!! This one is on my "go" list. I'd recommend it.

this has all the ingredients of a big winner but just left me cold, anyway. I don't think the author knows how to build suspense, at least , not in this one. sorry, thumbs down.
