"Whether on Earth or above it, hilarity is outrageously universal in TV's most popular comedy featuring four forward-thinking but socially backward geniuses. Fun discoveries multiply: Leonard learns jealousy is bad for a relationship (with Penny) but science is good for seduction (of Penny). Howard finds life on the International Space Station is no escape from terrestrial turmoil between his overbearing mom and his new wife Bernadette. Raj meets someone special who may be a good match, if only he can keep her from fleeing mid-date. Even Sheldon learns a few things: a) what not to say when called in to meet the university's employee relations director, b) what happens to childhood TU idols and c) that a Dungeons & Dragons adventure can be the icebreaker his relationship with Amy needs. For those who need laughter with scientific regularity, this 3-disc, 24-episode Season Six set of The Big Bang Theory will rock your cosmos."--Container.

One of my favourite seasons of THE BIG BANG THEORY, this season brings Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) into the fold as the main cast, easily skyrocketing to the top of my list as my favourite characters. The characters seem to be more real to life this season, with the group dynamics excelling. The laughs are nonstop, but this season is more emotional and the feelings seem genuine. Sheldon grows leaps and bounds under the stable care of Amy. Bernadette and Howard explore their marriage while cohabitation begins after the return from the ISS. Penny confronts her own issues with commitment and jealousy, overcoming them with the love and selflessness of Leonard. With everyone growing, Raj decides that he should grow, too, but before he finds a girlfriend, he starts off by getting a pet dog. I must recommend the episodes involving the legendary Bob Newhart as Professor Proton, as well as the Dungeons & Dragons episodes (yes, there are two!). I can't say it enough; I loved this season. It wasn't far-fetched, as some episodes in previous seasons have been. It just felt true. I would highly recommend it.
