I loved the different aspects of this movie! I loved how social media was integrated and how it went a step further by bringing different social media apps to life. I really liked the morals of the movie, the way it shows the importance of friendship and the fact that friendship does not mean being attached to each other each and every day. I also loved how it showed that both wanting to change and wanting to stay in your lifestyle is acceptable, and how through both ways you are still able to step out of your bubble and try something new, something different. I loved how this was shown through Ralph and Vanellope. Overall, this is a lovely family movie with valuable life lessons in it and a lot of fun.

Cute. But it throws the plot line of the whole first movie out the window and it kind of makes you scratch your head instead of just enjoying the movie.

not suitable for younger children,
relentless product placement and sensory overload negates the occasional fun parts, e.g. disney princesses and a fine cast (gal! taraji!) despite the neon colors and objects endlessly whizzing around, the animation wasn't... enthralling. does it transport you to a different place? I felt firmly rooted in front of my screen.

Ralph Breaks the Internet is a very wild, exciting, and somewhat overwhelming film with so many ideas and concepts about the Internet and the Disney brand blended into the movie. However, it almost felt too overwhelming as the plot was somewhat drowned out. Many brands are featured in the film, and I found it easy to get caught up with all of it. The use of the Oh My Disney website was definitely clever, and the pop-culture jokes and references were fun to see, but I believe that they were all a bit too much and a little distracting. On the other hand, I did enjoy the film, part of it being all those overwhelming elements, and I really liked how the plot further developed to something much deeper later on in the film that almost felt like it gave the movie more purpose. It was unexpected but truly intriguing. Additionally, the animation in Ralph Breaks the Internet was beautiful with so many vibrant colours, there was great humour, and the interpretation of the internet through a video game perspective in the film felt very accurate and extremely creative. Present-day issues were also mentioned in the film such as allowing men to be vulnerable and soft and remembering to ignore what people say on the internet which are important in a film all about the internet and the media. 4/5 stars. @demi.god.on.a.mission of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

Really a waste. It lost that sweet, nostalgic feel of the arcade games, it made the whole premise pointless, and it completely ignored her mistakes, ignorance, and selfishness by framing Ralph as the bad guy. Not to mention it's inconsistent with his character in the original. Really sad representation of contemporary mentality. Wish I had not seen it and soured the impression of the first film. Also, the cheap shot at women saving a man was an insult to women by suggesting that in order for women to be strong, men must be emasculated. Doesn't that still render "feminine" weak? The message is that rather than true equality, where both sexes are different but equal, we can only switch places. But if an unbalanced system has broken social relations up to this point, why would an unbalanced system in the other direction restore it? Or will it only lead to the same brokenness just with switched places....?

Cute and entertaining, but a few plotholes in the end. I wish the 'searchbar' character had been AskJeeves; I miss him. Feels more like a Pixar movie than a Disney one.

Cute for kids that's about it.

Not as great as the first one, but it had some inspired moments. Disney Princesses is all I'll say.

Bit of a sad film. Sarah Silverman makes her character so fresh and alive, but still such a downer. What was the point of this film? Saying Ralph is a stalker or at least too clingy and a nut job? Not a fun movie at all.
