This is the only modern Badman movie that captures the spirit of the hit 1960's TV show. Adam West will always be the best Batman.

So bad. I rarely stop watching movies, but I absolutely regret the decision to spend two hours of my life watching this. There are some very good actors in this movie, but it's as if each were played by an amateur actor pretending to be that real actor. Jim Carrey's jokes seemed like outtakes of a comedy show he did for the talent show in middle school. Nicole Kidman's character was psychologist Dr. Chase Meridian. Her sexual come-ons to Batman at highly inappropriate moments were weird at first then became disturbing. The best actor in this movie was Micheal Gough who played Alfred. Seriously, skip this one for any other Batman movie ever.

For every hilarious Tommy Lee Jones moment, there are two cringeworthy Jim Carrey moments.
It's dumb enough to be funny, but not quite so bad it's good.

Director Joel Schumacher is the main reason this movie was Terrible.

While many people disparage this movie, I first saw it as a kid, so I still love it! It is cheesy, yes, but as a kid it was really fun, and now it's just super nostalgic. Plus, it's still the only live-action popularly funded Batman movie with Poison Ivy... hopefully they bring her in with the DC villains reboot they started with Suicide Squad - I'd love to see her in Harley Quinn's movie!

Not the best movie, but worth a watch. More humorous than action packed.

I loved this movie, although I can see why many people had a problem with it. It's not a movie you should approach with a serious attitude and it isn't entirely a comedy either. What you can expect is nothing unexpected and men in tight suits with fake muscles. :)
