This is one of a group of books on Natives called Bobbie Kalman Books. She was born in Hungary in 1947. She escaped with her family to Austria during the Hungarian Revolution in 1956. The family spent several weeks there as refugees before immigrating to North America. Perhaps because of this background the book clumps all of North America into this pan-Indian view, they are all the same. However the Nations are North America are just as diverse as the nations of Europe, or Africa, and deserve the same consideration. So give this a pass, children don't need the pan indianism of the past.
