The first part of the book was very political with way too many non-important characters and details to keep track of - there were a lot of non-details about meeting and having drinks, meeting and having lunch etc and absolutely no substance - the 2nd part of the book was a bit better but again nothing to hold on to and the ending was anti-climactic. If it wasn't for the appeal of Stone Barrington, I would drop this author, his writing has been declining and this was the worst. Very disappointed (good thing we can borrow the books at the library and not have to pay for them)
