Freedom to Read Week encourages Canadians to think about and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom, which is guaranteed under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Libraries and schools are regularly asked to remove books people deem offensive or inappropriate for certain audiences. Below, we're highlighting titles that have been challenged here in Canada.
